About Me

I like to think of myself as a blend between my engineer father, who has a military background, and my mother who is a kindergarten teacher. I grew up with a strong sense of discipline, as much as an encouragement to explore my curiosity - traits that I carry with me to this day.

I am Portuguese, born and raised in Sintra, and moved to Lisbon in 2012 to study Design. I started my career as an intern graphic designer in an advertisement agency, working with various national brands. In 2018 I took on the opportunity to join the tech industry, where I developed most of my professional skills. Nowadays, as a freelancer since 2023, I’ve been collaborating and managing projects with a variety of clients, from start-ups to big tech companies.

Lately, I’ve been immersing myself in the realm of AI learnings, adopting an open mind to its capabilities and exploring how it can be an ally to creativity.

My Values

Communication & Empathy

Communication isn’t just something I value, I consider it to be the most powerful tool to cultivate trust and healthy relationships, may they be personal or professional. On the same note, I believe empathy is what allows us to understand no matter the differences, and that’s the mindset I bring with me everywhere.

Structure & Flexibility

If there’s one thing that the freelancing lifestyle taught me, is how much these two concepts go hand-in-hand. More than good organisation skills, more than a well curated calendar, it takes realistic estimations of time and above all, well established priorities, to keep a healthy work-life balance.

Accountability & Integrity

In the face of challenging situations, I adopt a learning posture, I don’t shy away from admitting when I’m not comfortable with a situation or subject, and when needed I will take responsibility over any mistakes made, taking the time to reflect, and suggesting action plans to minimise any inconveniences.
